Skill levels
Levels describe prerequisites, not quality. Start lower when in doubt; a resource may span more than one level.
Beginner
You can use a chat interface; no programming background required.
Intermediate
You can read and adapt code, use APIs and check model outputs.
Advanced
You have built workflows and can evaluate research and system trade-offs.
Expert
You can implement research methods or work with training and large-scale infrastructure.
Writing code requires at least Intermediate. Papers default to Advanced. Work requiring a GPU cluster or training stack is Expert. When a resource spans levels, use the lower entry level and record the upper level as level_max. Reading an introduction does not require completing its implementation exercises.
